„Social Business Tour 2010″ is a joint initiative of ERSTE Foundation, Erste Group, organization Good.bee, Federal Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Consumer Protection Republic of Austria and Grameen Creative Lab under the patronage of Prof. Muhammad Yunus, owner of Nobel Peace Prize and founder of the idea of social entrepreneurship. Project has been launched in the year of struggle against poverty and social exclusion in Europe, with the goal to promote the concept of social entrepreneurship in Central and East Europe countries.
A competition for the best idea in the field of social entrepreneurship has been held within the tour. The competition has been organized in 6 countries: Austria, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Serbia, Hungary and Romania. The best ideas were first selected on the national level, while the final winner was chosen in the Bucharest in October on the European finals. Winning project that represented Serbia was created by Dragana Tomic with the idea of Centre for Socially Responsible Entrepreneurship.
